CASTE BASED DISCRIMINATION PREVENTION CELL
Government of India, Ministry of HRD, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi and University Grants Commission are continuously monitoring the prevention of caste based discrimination in Higher Educational institutions. The college ensures that no official / faculty members/ students indulge in any kind of discrimination against any community or category of students. CASTE BASED DISCRIMINATION PREVENTION CELL (CBDPC) is constituted in the college to prevent and solve issues of caste-based discrimination. The cell aims to ensure that all students are treated as equal and attempts to ensure equity and equal opportunity to the students as a whole and bring in social inclusion. It helps to create a congenial atmosphere in the campus and for the growth of healthy interpersonal relationship among the students coming from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. It seeks to sensitize the college on the problems of less privileged students and ensures that no student is left behind the teaching process. CBDPC aims to ensure that no student is discriminated in the name of caste and provides a platform to address their grievances frankly and thus to mitigate the diversity in the campus.
Functions of the cell
The cell comprises of the Principal of the college as the chairperson and senior faculties as members. If students belonging to SC/ST category have any complaints, they can lodge the complaints to the Tutor in charge, HOD’s or any member of CBDPC through the form given below.

The college encourages the students to be are aware of the problems of the disadvantaged sections of society in their engagement with people from varied social milieu. Since TKMM college believes in respecting and promoting the rights and dignity of each individual, the inclusion of people with disabilities is a primary focus of the college. Post Metric Scholarships for Students with Disabilities (PMSD)
The Scholarship provides financial assistance to the parents of students with disabilities for studying in post-matric level. The financial assistance includes scholarship, book grant, escort/reader allowance, etc. Selection of the beneficiaries under these two scholarship schemes is on the basis of merit. CENTRE FOR GANDHIAN STUDIES
The Centre for Gandhian Studies of TKMM College is an interdisciplinary centre established in college with the assistance of University of Kerala in 2018. The primary objective of the centre is the study and dissemination of knowledge of the life, thought, values and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. It strives to propagate knowledge about Father of Nation among the college fraternity as well as the community around. By organizing seminars, workshops, quiz, debate and other literary competitions, the Centre inculcate the Gandhian values among the students and provide an avenue for the all-round development of members.

SREENARAYANA STUDY CENTRE
Sree Narayana Study Forum, T K Madhava Memorial College, Nangiarkulangara was initiated with the aim of propagating and disseminating the philosophy and principles of Sree Narayana Guru, the renowned spiritual leader and social reformer of Kerala. The main objective is to instill the principles of value- based life and the concept of Universal brotherhood among the students by making them capable to think beyond the barriers of caste, race and religion. The students are also introduced to the life and works of Sree Narayana Guru through seminars and lectures conducted by eminent scholars annually. Inter – Department and Inter-Collegiate Elocution and Essay competitions are also organized by the forum.

VIMUKTI COMMITTEE
Alcohol/Drugs/Substance abuse is being an increasing menace in our nation especially Kerala. In order to curb this menace Kerala State Excise Department initiated Vimukthi clubs in educational institutions. Vimukthi is an anti- narcotics campaign launched by Government of Kerala to highlight the seriousness of the situation and to create awareness among the people especially youth. Vimukthi Club in our college also stands for augmenting and strengthening the existing awareness programme against drugs and alcohol.

EK BHARAT SHRESHTA BHARAT CLUB
Formation of EBSB Club (Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat) has been one of the major flagship programmes of the Government to bring in cultural integration of the country as a part of the vision to build a "New India by 2022". The program was launched by the Honorable Prime Minister to promote engagement amongst the people of states and union territories in the country in order to enhance mutual understanding and bonding between people of diverse cultures, thereby securing stronger unity and integrity of India. The EBSB club of T K Madhava Memorial College Nangiarkulangara established on 10 January 2020 with the following objective.

In compliance with the instructions of National Commission for women and guidelines issued in implementation of the directives of Hon'ble Supreme Court Judgement dated 13th August, 1997 in the case of Visakha and others vs. State of Rajasthan and Others on the subject of sexual harassment of women in the workplace, the college had duly constituted an Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) for considering complaints of sexual harassment of women working in the college.
