ADMISSION – ONLINE CENTRALISED ALOTMENT
The candidate must register an application online, based on eligibility, in order to acquire admission to numerous programmes at different colleges on a preferred basis. In a single application, a maximum of 25 alternatives may be provided. The University does not require hard copies of the online application. The candidate's performance in the Plus two/Higher Secondary Exam shall serve as the foundation for allotment/admission to the First-Degree Program. Candidates will be assigned to various programmes in colleges based on merit and in accordance with the University's norms and regulations.
ADMISSION-COMMUNITY QUOTA
Application for admission must be submitted on the College's specified form, which bears the College's seal. Application forms are available at the College Office for Rs.30, payable in cash or by money order. Those who wish to receive the form by post must include a self-addressed, properly stamped envelope. The application must be received by the college administration on or before the deadline as per the university schedule. Every application should include a self-addressed postcard. Applicants who are provisionally accepted will be notified via Indian post. The College shall not be held liable for any delays in transmitting such notices. The Principal has the authority to refuse any application for any reason.
INTERVIEW
Applicants who have been provisionally selected will be required to appear before the Principal for an interview on a specified date. At the interview, the candidate must provide the SSLC (Certificate to prove age), Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, Medical Inspection Certificate, and the following record (all in original).
Mark lists of the Higher Secondary Examination Certificate for B.A./B.Sc./B.Com courses.
Certified, as well as a mark list, conduct certificate, and medical inspection certificate from the most recent college attended for MA/MSc Courses.
Candidates must be accompanied by their parents or guardians when attending the interview. The Principal has the power to deny admission to any candidate who has been invited for an interview without providing a reason.
ENROLLMENT
On payment of the first instalment of tuition costs, the applicant who is selected during the interview will be enrolled immediately. Students from low-income families who qualify for full fee waivers must pay the caution and laboratory deposits at the time of enrollment. Students who finish their course of study in March are eligible for a reimbursement of their Caution Deposit before May 1. The amount that has not been claimed will be given to the government. Those who choose to withdraw from college during the first term must pay the fees for entire term.
After acceptance, no applicant will be enrolled or permitted to attend any class until the first instalment of tuition, laboratory charge, and other costs, as well as Caution Money, has been paid. Fees will not be reimbursed after they have been collected. Any candidate who is found to have secured admission by false documents will be automatically rejected, and any money paid will be forfeited.
WITHDRAWAL
A student seeking for a transfer certificate will be granted the certificate only after payment of all fees or other money due for the academic year in which he/she was enrolled, or such portion thereof as the principal deems appropriate. Every student who applies for his or her Transfer certificate after the first term of the academic year immediately following will be charged a penalty of Rs.50. Students who have taken a University Examination will receive their Transfer Certificate only once the examination results have been published.
Any student applying for a certificate must include all necessary information for identification, such as his or her full name (with initials), the class in which he or she last studied, the class number, the admission number, the group to which he or she belongs, and the year in which he or she left the college. A self-addressed stamped envelope must be supplied if a postal reply is required.
A fee of Rs. 10 will be levied to current college students for the issuance of a Conduct, Course, Identification, or Medical Inspection Certificate.
The following documents will be issued for a price of Rs.10 each:
The student's attendance, conduct, course, identification, or medical inspection certificate has lapsed since the student left college,
A validated extract from any college document, such as a date-of-birth certificate.
For the issuance of a duplicate Transfer Certificate, a cost of Rs 100 is payable.
Any student who quits the institution before finishing his course without the explicit permission of the Principal will not get a certificate of character. Any student who leaves the institution without paying any outstanding fees or other obligations will not issue his/her certificates. Caution money will only be reimbursed at the end of a course after all dues have been paid.
RESIDENCE OF STUDENTS
All students who do not live with their parents or guardians must stay in lodgings that have been authorised by the principal.
Students must provide the college administration with complete information about their domicile as soon as possible following enrollment.
Any changes in residency should be communicated to the Principal as soon as possible.
ATTENDANCE
Attendance will be recorded every day at the start of each period. Absences will be considered for half of the day if they occur during one period.
There must be at least 180 working days in a year, excluding holidays and examination days. A semester's required attendance is 75 percent of total working days.
Students must be seated in their assigned seats prior to the start of each lesson. They are not permitted to leave the classroom unless they have the approval of the teacher.
ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE
The following requirements must be met in order for the certificate of attendance to be issued.
A certificate will not be issued until a student has finished the course of study to the satisfaction of the college authorities and has exhibited satisfactory progress and behaviour.
To receive the certificate, students must attend at least 75 percent of the semester's total working days. It is required for promotion and admission to the University Examination.
Students whose attendance falls below this requirement must request to the University for an exception through their principal. If the shortage is less than 10 days, the application for exemption must be supported by a Treasury receipt for Rs.100, and if the shortage is between 10 and 20 days, a Treasury receipt for Rs.200. Each day's absence will have to be justified. A medical certificate must also be supplied if the absence is due to sickness. Exemption will not be allowed more than once during a semester.
SHORTAGE OF ATTENDANCE
Students who are enrolled for a term to make up for a lack of attendance in a previous course should pay one-third of the annual tuition costs, as well as full special fees and a caution deposit, at the time of admission. As term students, only previous students of the relevant colleges should be admitted.
In the case of readmitted students (who are enrolled in a one-year course), all costs, including special fees and the caution deposit, are required for the entire year at the time of admission, as long as his or her name remains in the roll of college.
If a student studying for a degree or postgraduate course in an Arts and Science College obtains a transfer certificate from the institution and is admitted to the same course of study in another similar college, he or she will not be required to pay the fees already paid for the term in the college that issued the T.C. However, at the new College, special fees and a caution deposit will have to be paid again.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
No student is permitted to leave class without prior permission.
Unless there are extenuating circumstances, the Principal should receive an application for leave of absence suggested by the group tutor prior to the start of the morning session
A student who is absent for ten consecutive working days will have his name stricken from the rolls and will be forced to seek for re-admission using the specified form.
In the situation of a missed test, assignment, or other activity, the missing item must be completed and presented to the teacher. The student will not be granted the attendance if this is not the case. Other penalties may be imposed on him.
Each student is responsible for maintaining his or her own attendance records. The list of students' attendance from the beginning of each month to the end of that month will be published at the start of the next month.
MORNING PRAYER
Every day, the "Daiva Dashakam," composed by His Holiness Sree Narayana Guru, is played over the public address system before the start of classes. During the invocation, staff and students should stand in reverent silence.
GENERAL DICIPLINE
In class, as well as at any meeting or gathering on college premises, students are required to be clean and appropriately dressed.
When on campus, students should always wear their identification card.
Politics is prohibited on campus.
Students should proceed to their respective courses and take their seats at the first bell before each session. When the instructor comes in, everyone must rise and stay standing until the teacher tells them to sit.
Students must not misbehave or disrupt the classes or any other class work.
No student may leave the classroom unless the teacher gives permission or until the class is dismissed.
Students are not permitted to stand in the College's verandahs or hallways during class hours. During working hours, students who do not have any courses should go to the library.
Students are not permitted to smoke on college campus.
It is against the rules for students to mishandle or damage college property.
Without the explicit consent of the Principal, the distribution of any message to students, the use of megaphones, mobile phones, loudspeakers, and the posting of posters in the campus premises are absolutely banned.
It is definitely prohibited for students to make complaints or representations as a group or to approach any authority collectively.
No gathering of any type shall be held in the college unless the Principal has given his or her written approval.
Minor offences are punishable by a fine if there is irregular attendance, insubordination to teachers, persistent absence from classwork, or obscenity in word or deed.
According to government decree, students are not permitted to use their cellphones on campus.
Misconduct in a test paper or examination will result in a student receiving disciplinary action, which may include denial of promotion to the next class or expulsion from the institution.

Depending on the severity of the offence, the Principal has the authority to punish, suspend, or remove a student. Before any penalty is imposed, each offender will be given the opportunity to explain his or her actions. Prior to additional disciplinary action, a student may be sent out of class at the discretion of the teacher in concern.
Students who are repeatedly found misbehaving at the College risk having their fees and other privileges revoked.
Without the consent of the Principal, no student or officer of any organisation may release any information about the College's activities to the press.
In terms of discipline, no office bearer of any association shall intervene between the Principal and the Students.
