The College Council of the college is in responsible of putting together the academic schedule. The Governing and College Councils have adopted the academic schedule, which is carefully adhered to at the College. Every academic year begins with the preparation of an academic calendar. It contains information such as the number of working days, major vacations, test schedules, and other key college academic events. These dates and schedules are established in accordance with the Boards of Studies, the Staff Council, and the Controller of Examinations. Every year, the Academic Management System in use at the College is based on academic calendar. The College uses a semester system and a common regulation based on the University of Kerala's standards, and has created its own calendar based on this.
For all programmes, the college publishes a general timetable that details the arrangement of classes and allotment of classroom for each session.
The general time table outlines the work allotment among different members of the faculty in the department, and department-specific time tables are slotted in line with it. Students are informed of the schedule in advance by their class professors, allowing them to plan their seminars and assignments accordingly. Faculty members construct a pedagogical programme that covers 40% of the curriculum before the first internal examination, 40% before the second internal examination, and 20% before the end semester examination, which includes review. PG and UG students in the last year of their studies are given a precise timetable that includes their dissertation/thesis study, field work, lab experiments, and other activities. The College Manual, which contains all of the necessary information, is available online. Department meetings are conducted by heads of departments to check on the progress of the topics they've addressed. At the start of each year, students are given the College Manual, which contains all pertinent information.
