T. K. Madhava Memorial College is an institution built upon the maxim of the Great Saint Philosopher, Sree Narayana Guru “to be strong through organisation”. There comes the importance of clubs and organization in the College. A club or a society enables the students to connect to peer groups who share similar interests. The associations that the students foster in a club can also possibly lead to life-long relationships. Being a part of a club or a society helps the students to gain knowledge, skills and experience in leadership, communication, problem-solving, group development and management, finance, presentation and public speaking. Students undoubtedly learn new skills and experience personal growth, thereby, they can discover their passion and skills.
Moreover, according to ‘The University of Kerala Regulations’ relating to the First Degree Programmes under the Choice Based Credit andSemester (CBCS) system in Affiliated Colleges, it is mandatory for students to participate in any SocialService/Extension Activities for not less than forty hours, during the 3rd and 4thsemesters, for successful completion of the Programme.
