NPTEL was established by the Central Education Ministry (erstwhile MHRD) in the year 2014 to inculcate e-Learning and inclusive education to all throughout the country. NPTEL SWAYAM online learning platform provides continuous and value based learning to any knowledge enthusiasts irrespective of their age, place and financial backgrounds. NPTEL courses, curriculum and exams is been coordinated by various IIT’S across the country. We have initiated an NPTEL local chapter in our college to provide our students unique opportunity to pursue new generation and versatile online courses provided by premier institutes, which will make them capable and demanding in their future prospects. NPTEL courses is being conducted as 4, 8 and 12 week programs and after completion of online courses, an online examination is conducted by NPTEL, successful candidates is provided with certificate issued by coordinating IIT. NPTEL also provides FDP programs for faculty in the college, an eight week program is been counted as one FDP.
